Do you want to help create safe and cohesive psychiatric care?
With us, you will have a central role in an engaged team where quality, evidence-based methods, and the needs of the patient are in focus.
There are good opportunities for development - both for you and for the care.
Our offer
The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different activities. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, addiction care, emergency services, and mobile services. You will find our operations in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds and in the garrison area.
The goal is always safe and cohesive care with the needs of the patients in focus. We also want to be leaders in sustainability in the workplace, and for that, we need more engaged employees!
The psychiatric outpatient clinic consists of general psychiatric basic teams and several subspecialized teams, including an eating disorder team. The eating disorder team is responsible for the treatment of adults with eating disorder diagnoses. The clinic also has a regional team with a cross-county mission to conduct day care for adults with eating disorder diagnoses.
The eating disorder team consists of caregivers, dietitians, psychologists, psychotherapists, and doctors. We currently have a vacant position for a social worker and are looking for someone interested in working with treatment interventions for individuals with eating disorder diagnoses. Welcome to a team where you work independently but in close collaboration with your colleagues!
Please read about your benefits with us.
Job description
As a therapist in our eating disorder team, you will conduct treatment work for adults with eating disorder diagnoses both independently and together with colleagues in the team. Other psychiatric conditions requiring specialist psychiatric care may also occur in the team. You will work with therapeutic, supportive, and psychoeducational conversations and may also meet new patients during referral visits. You are responsible for motivating, supporting, and assessing the patient and their needs, as well as coordinating interventions around this. You will participate in treatment conferences and method development together with your colleagues in the team.
Part of the position is linked to our regional day care. As a therapist in day care, you will lead group therapy and eating training for adults with eating disorder diagnoses. You may also have assignments as a contact person and conduct individual support conversations. The eating disorder team regularly has joint case supervision.
About you
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in treatment work for individuals with eating disorder diagnoses. You have a degree in social work. We prefer that you are a licensed healthcare social worker and have basic psychotherapy training (level 1) in CBT.
Training in CBT-E and/or experience in treatment work in outpatient care for eating disorders is advantageous.
As you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. The work places high demands on personal maturity and flexibility.
As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team with other professionals. You are independent and confident and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Of course, you work based on science and proven experience. You also believe that well-being and the social work environment are important for the workplace. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
